The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has apprehended 18-year-old Jasim Shahnawaz Ansari from Nadiad in connection with a series of cyberattacks targeting numerous Indian government websites. The accused, a 12th-grade dropout, cultivated proficiency in multiple programming languages and leveraged this knowledge to carry out his illicit activities. Alongside a group of juvenile accomplices, Ansari effectively utilized his technical skills to orchestrate these cyberattacks, violating cybersecurity protocols and posing significant risks to national security.
Authorities are taking this incident very seriously, emphasizing the importance of robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard against such threats. Continued vigilance and the implementation of advanced security protocols are essential to protect sensitive information and maintain the integrity of government digital infrastructure.
