Google Launches Imagen 4: Advanced Text-to-Image Model Now Available at No Cost

Google has introduced Imagen 4, its advanced text-to-image model, which is now available for free exclusively on AI Studio. This release represents a significant upgrade from previous versions, enhancing the quality of text-to-image generation.

In an official announcement, Google emphasized that the availability of Imagen 4 is limited and encouraged users to take advantage of this opportunity. The model features two specific variants: the standard “Imagen 4,” tailored for general tasks, and the premium “Imagen 4 Ultra,” which serves as the flagship offering.

Imagen 4 boasts important improvements regarding image generation quality, especially in text interpretation and output. It is priced at $0.04 per generated image, while the Imagen 4 Ultra, which provides more precise adherence to text prompts, is available at $0.06 per output image.

At present, the Gemini platform does not support access to the Imagen 4 model; however, it is expected to be available soon for paid users.
